Òganan Bhaile a’ Ghobhainn
Òganan Bhaile a’ Ghobhainn opened its doors more than a year ago, and since then things have developed considerably.

On the first week, we had eight children attending the Nursery, but that number has increased to 35 just now and is steadily growing each month!

Our professional staff have grown as well with every one of us now qualified or working towards a qualification in childcare.
We are fortunate to have a brand new purpose-built venue, which is open both outside and in, and it’s a great advantage for the children to be able to take themselves off outside to play whenever they want.

In just over a year, we have created a welcoming environment, where the children receive high-quality childcare and a wide variety of opportunities for learning and personal development through the medium of Gaelic.

We are proud that Gaelic is the language of the Nursery and that our children get the chance to hear and use it daily through play in a warm encouraging environment.
The children acquire Gaelic very well and this was signalled to us by teachers from the school remarking how fluent they found the Gaelic of those who went on to the school from our nursery! What encouraging feedback!

We are full of hope that the Nursery will continue to develop and strengthen over the months and years to come, and that it will consolidate our connections with the community and our families.

We are proud and honoured to be supporting and teaching a new generation of Gaelic speakers!
