Meet Coinneach!

We’re thrilled to share the adventures of our new Early Years Bear, Coinneach, who goes home with a different child each week.
So far, he’s had a fantastic time visiting the doctor’s office, enjoying a dazzling light show, starring in a puppet show, and spending cosy nights at a number of homes.
Each child gets the chance to take him on an adventure, helping them feel a sense of ownership and responsibility. They can write or draw about their weekend together, and we encourage parents to share their own stories and photos, too.

These memories are then added to a special photo book, where the children can revisit their bear’s adventures throughout the year.
This project not only encourages creativity and communication, but it also builds a strong connection between our setting and home, supporting the children’s social and emotional development.
