Wellbeing Club

We’re excited to announce the launch of our Wellbeing Club, where the children are exploring the SHANARRI indicators to build a healthier, happier Òganan community.

SHANARRI stands for Safe, Healthy, Active, Nurtured, Achieving, Respected, Responsible, and Included, and our club is all about fostering these values through fun and engaging activities.

The club is child-led and we have created activities based on what the children wanted to learn about each week.

On week one our club members took part in a Mini Medics course for ‘Safe, learning essential life-saving skills like CPR.

This gave them the opportunity to ask questions, learn more about how to act in an emergency and build their confidence.

They also got creative when learning about ‘Nurtured‘ by making Little Jars of Kindness, filled with positive messages to inspire and uplift themselves and others.

To round off their ‘Healthy‘ week, the children took on the challenge of creating nutritious meals and snacks, discovering how food choices can boost both energy and wellbeing.

These hands-on experiences are helping them learn about the importance of looking after both their mental and physical health.

We’re thrilled with the enthusiasm our Wellbeing Club members are showing, and we look forward to more fun activities ahead as they continue their wellbeing journey.
